Belated Thanksgiving Pics

I know it's been a while since Thanksgiving; but these are still fun.

This year I flew for Thanksgiving, or any holiday for that matter, for the first time. Greg and I traveled to Canton, GA, a suburb of Atlanta to spend the holiday with his family. I felt so blessed to be able to share the time with them and to be accepted into their fold. They're awesome. And of course, the Thanksgiving food was awesome!

Thanksgiving evening, after the big meal for lunch, we all went to Stone Mountain. It was so much fun. Beyond just the Christmas lights and getting sneezed on by 3D animated reindeer, there was so much going on. First, Greg danced me around the plaza in the Christmas village. Then we learned about the meaning of 'Confidence.'

After a movie and exploring the Christmas village to buy cool hats, we took a train ride. Most people decided to ride in the enclosed car, but a few of us braved the open air car in spite of the cold. The ride was awesome and included a sing along, tons of Christmas lights, and telling of the real Christmas story. Greg's Uncle Jeff kept us and the gals in line.

Then came the Old General Store with tons of classic candies and of course, the Barrels o' Fun out front. Greg, Courtney and Mr. Bill all braved the crazy foot massages.

And of course, no visit to the Altanta area is complete without seeing the Coca-Cola Polar Bear. Poor Greg. What can I say? I'm a sucker for cute, fuzzy animals.

But don't worry, he's still talking to me.

He's just holding me tighter in check. ;-)
